Empowering Youth Vocational Skills for Automated Metal Industry (skills4ami)
– adjusting vocational education to demands of metal machining industry of the future
skills4ami is an international project funded under the EEA Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 Education Programme and domestic funds.
Main objective:
- Development of modern educational platform supporting youth in choosing a career related to the technical industry
Intermediate objectives:
- Analysis and diagnosis of key competency gaps of of youth learning in VET schemes
- Development of educational content of non-formal training incorporating the demands of the metal industry market
- Development of professional competences and educational mobility of VET education teachers and career advisers
- Promotion of dual education and strengthening cooperation between schools and entrepreneurs
Main results:
- Report: Study of the learning outcomes of vocational education (including dual education) in partner regions
- Report: Analysis on competency gaps of youth learning in VET schemes
- Offer of non-formal training taking into account the needs of the metal industry market
- Multimedia educational platform focused on VET in technical skills
